reserve ......

The reservation issue seems to drag forever, and a solution seems nowhere in near-sight. Though, I have made my position about this quite clear

However, I personally do not endorse the manner of protests and their concomitants...
Doctors on hunger strike...107 hours of protests, 99 students collapsed, media prohibited from broadcasting on the issue, urgent need for help...Spread it like fire before it's too late...Youth For Equality

The hours' and students' figures might change & 'the collapsed may be replaced by die' but this message is making the rounds in mails, sms and instant messages. The forwarders in their new-found patriotism excitedly keep forwarding it. This 'apparently false' propaganda may be nothing but a publicity stunt, taken up to evoke frenzy.. A media channel tried to investigate its verity and the supposed-senders 'Youth For Equality' denied having sent it. The truth so remains concealed
[ more on this]

Also, being ignored are the hapless patients all over the country who are being dragged into this row. The protestors would argue that due to no fault of theirs (read caste) students would suffer too... But, this argument is as good as 'an-eye-for-an-eye' judgement. Already a few deaths have been reported due to the unavailability of doctors (there may be several others that have gone by unreported)

The worst part is (and the most comic one) is hearing people's views about the solutions...
Ban Central Government
Bring in a dictator
Let us all students leave India
etc etc .. the list keeps getting funnier

i wanted this post to be a short one, alas, I too have flown with the feelings [:D]

Where the hell did u hear the solutions?rotfl..
Dude about the doctors well,I agree with u. But u see, in what way can the doctors strike then? How should they protest, so that their voices are heard by the idiots bringing out the law? I think the only reason this campaign(if that) has got this amount of coverage it's because of the doctors strike. But then like u pointed out, how inconveniencing thousands and thousands of patients is fair when the folly is from the government's side.... Damn wanted to keep my comment short as well!! :-)
