reading continues...

Read (past tense)
> English August by Upamanyu Chatterjee - funny yet seemed very real, very indian.. Liked the book

> The Inscrutable Americans by Anurag Mathur * - I must say, it began really well; but after a while it became too predictable, repetetious and all that. Dear Brothers, it is an alrite-types book

Have moved to a sortof motivational book - I'm OK, you're OK. Using the theory of Transactional Analysis, it claims it has altered peoples' life. Must admit, I am nowhere near that - am finding it pretty difficult to digest it ...

* - A tip from Rao made me read it...

For motivatonal type books, try reading who moved my cheese, if u get time. it si like a 50-60 pgs book, so u can read it quickly, and it is GOOD, will help u with the amount of slogging the software guys have to do :)

p.s. dont confuse it wid the spoof on it, i moved ur cheese, thts crappy.

@harshad - bhai, i never said i am reading it to get motivated... actually am trying to comprehend what motivates ppl u see :D
also am trying different genres, writing styles, contents

@pratik - i didnt read the whole of it - just the preface ..so i will give it a try - 50 pages will finish in around an hr nyways

- actually wanted to try 'chicken soup for the soul' -- but remember a jr.college teacher reading out stories from it during free lectures and that prompted me not to try it :))

btw nice tht ur trying different writting styles. i generally, after reading one author tend to get comfortable wid it, and end up reading a lot of hs books. (jeffry archer)

Blogger Zaki M said ... (12:36 AM) :
