an urdu word update .....
Had a team lunch today, and noticed a dish 'Veg Mumtaz' in the menu-card. The restaurant serves both veg and non-veg food, and i prefer the latter; hence, couldn't order[1] that dish. However, we had a good laugh about the name of this dish. "It will be sweet" said a colleague perhaps taking a cue from the actress Mumtaz :D So, here I am, have looked up the word Mumtaz and it means Eminent, Outstanding, Chosen [1] - the desire to order that dish had more inquisitional reasons compared to culinary ones ... PS: Since people comment on my using of *'s, I am going to use other marks as indices |
