Now, I understand the raaz behind the outages. - First it was geocities, I cursed it for a week and ported my webpage onto freewebs. - Now, its blogger.com, naa - I am not reporting my blog - no way!! And all this to suppress anti-social activities courtesy Mumbai blasts... Hmmm But, geocities was down around 3 weeks back, and what was the reason for that? - Does this classify as pre-emption? * Neha Vishwanath tracks this issue here * Another reason for those who arent using RSS feeds to start using them Update : Thanks to the hullabaloo generated by a few influential bloggers, Blogger.com is directly accessible again. Don't any influential people use Geocities(sic)?

Looking back at the WC Final -there are atleast 3 contenders for the event of the Final. - Zidane's knocking down of Materazzi - Materazzi's foul which led to the penalty - The closing performance by Shakira And I think the "Hips" easily beat Materazzi's leg and Zidanes' head.

After verifying that the problem persists on 4 different browsers, & 3 different machines, I can safely conclude that "yahoo geocities" is down... none of the sites hosted by geocities are visible ... though it still allows web pages to be edited! "Page not found" --- and couldnt find any news about this shutdown. Simply means my webpage ceases to exist (sic) Update -- I say goodbye and thankyou to Geoshities..
